The Anti Social Interview
Before the general public became aware of SoundCloud rap, the sub-genre was pushing boundaries and creating sounds like we’d never heard. A handful of years later the market has become oversaturated, in-turn losing the authenticity and experimental traits that initially helped the scene prosper.
It should be noted that the generality above doesn’t apply to all rappers, as a select few still aim to innovate and push the culture forward. One of the remaining anomaly’s in the SoundCloud world goes by the name of Anti Social, and will bring you back to the good ‘ole days of unconventional internet rap.
We sat down with Anti Social to talk about his come-up and his current state, keep scrolling to read our exchange with the rising star.

What’s the story behind your name?
My name is Anti Social Mainly due to friends and people always changing up on me or leaving me alone and just mistreated me. Eventually it turned me into this .
Anti Social! Tell us a bit about your journey…
This took forever I swear, and still is taking long but you know it’s been a hell of a ride and It was all worth it. I never imagined doing half the things I’ve already done.
You’re quite different from other artists around right now, how would you describe your sound, attitude and energy?
I’m just so versatile you can’t really describe me. I really just try and spread all positive to the world and you know try and help us all come together. We are all human.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Living in LA . With a couple Platinum records in my living room
What do you do when you’re not making music?
Get Tattoos or Be on Instagram
How many tattoos do you have?
I Really Couldn’t tell you, I Lost count when I was 17 years old. If I had to guess I’d say over 100 and something but not sure to be honest
