Queens, NY based rapper BTroy drops some new heat titled, “Make IT”.
The emerging artist has been consistent with his releases over the past year and we’re excited to see what he has in store.
Who is BTroy?
I was born and raised in Queens, NY and have been writing and recording music for over 5 years. Over the past year I’ve released a multitude of tracks including a mixtape “The Back & Forth” that’s available on all major platforms. I’m currently working on a new project set for late winter/early spring release and building up a fan base.
Inspiration behind “Make It”?
I wanted to come up with a track that really showed people that I was serious about music while also showing off my creativity with some punch lines.
Which artists do you think are shaking things up in the industry right now?
There are a ton of artists that are shaking things up in the industry in their own way. I always respected artists versatility especially when they expand to different genres of music. Drake, Logic, and Machine Gun Kelly are some artists to name a few.
What do you like to do outside of music that contributes to your musicality?
Outside of music I like to draw and travel. Drawing helps test my creativity and traveling gives you new life experiences that helps with writing lyrics.
